Denise Evans-Robinson is a native of Angie, Louisiana, an accomplished entrepreneur and multifaceted individual whose influence spans diverse industries, from telecommunications to community activism. Denise started her first business in 2015 with D&B Travel. Her keen knowledge and business savvy gave her the keys to embark on additional business ventures, including Perfectly Vinyl Prints by D&B, Strokes of Magic, and Picture Perfect with D&B. A true and nature entrepreneur who has made a lasting, positive impact and experience for all of her clients, community and abroad. In 2019, in honor of her late Mother Pearl Spikes Robinson, she founded Krewe of Pearls, where she would later be crowned Mardi Gras Queen for Krewe of Unity in 2023. She would later publish her first coloring book titled, I Was Born a Queen. It inspired so many young girls to not limit their dreams or passions. In May 2023, she opened The Gathering Village Community Playground, creating a safe and family-oriented space for young children and teenagers in her hometown. She is one of three recipients of the 2023 African American Small Business Initiative by United Way of Southeast Louisiana. Denise enjoys spreading her entrepreneurial spirit with knowledge based programs to future entrepreneurs. Her dedication to her community - as a wife, mother, published author, and influencer are paramount to the success of future generations to come.
